I know Pete, he’s a great guy with business experience. Sweeny has accomplished nothing in life except attach herself to the public teet.

I can’t stand the fact that Ms. Swiney continues to lie about being “full-time”. For years people within the county have joked about how little time she puts into her job. Never seen her at a Lakewood meeting. Ever. Just four years ago she was defending Forsmans working two jobs. NOw that she’s running against someone who has another job, the opinion changes. Yuck. She is the epitome of a career politician at the local level. She counts on the unquestioning vote of union brothers. I’ve never understood that, being one myself and how many of of us haven’t gotten one solid thing out of her. She even postured about the gay marriage vote. How the heck does that effect my roads and property taxes?! I’ll be voting for Stauber.

Pete Stauber is an experienced, friendly, approachable man with integrity. He will work hard to represent the people of his district. A vote for Stauber is a vote for yourself–your issues, your jobs. He does a lot in the community to make it a better place to live & work. He’s out there talking to the kids about being responsible for your own behavior & treating others with respect. A vote for Stauber is a vote for your future. More of us would do well to follow Stauber’s example of being a part of our community in volunteer positions.

Bing- you say Ms. Swiney has done a good job and is well respected?! By who? She has done a TERRIBLE job. She has been the most vacant of all commisioners, yet she has the adacity to claim Mr. Stauber can’t do the job because of another postition he holds. Her contemptable actions sickens us in the 5th. It’s time we had someone in office who really cares about all of their constituents, not just a few of her friends in Proctor. As a side note, the hypocricy of this news article relating to those with other jobs also sickens me. PEg defended Mike Forsman FOR YEARS as he was working as a miner. So did BIll Kron. These back stabbing liars need to stay in their cave.
