It doesn’t seem like it’s asking a lot for hunters to switch to non-lead ammunition. All it takes to poison a bald eagle is for the bird to eat on the gut pile of a deer shot by a hunter who used a lead bullet.

It is not based on sound science. Also while copper ammunition has dropped in price it is still double, or more, the cost of lead. It is a solution looking for a problem. If people want to use it fine do not make in required.
