Don’t know if you read comments posted here, Mr. Jacobs, but is it my imagination or are there fewer robins in GF and do they stay around here for a shorter time? I recall when they were here all summer in my yard. Now I see them passing through both ways. Same is true with other birds. We used to get flocks of waxwings eating berries on our bushes. Could always count on an oriole, a redstart, a goldfinch, a shrike, and others. No more. Oh the hairy and downey woodpeckers still show up for the suet, and even the piliated from UND comes around. Purple finches and juncos. But seems that the variety has diminshed greatly.
