Shameful. Cunniff will be nothing more than a rubber stamp for the DFL power brokers in the Metro. Rep. Franson has worked long and hard to benefit this area and the entire state. The DFL just wants to be Obama’s water carriers.

I am surely not one bit surprised at the Echo Press endorsement of Cunniff over Franson in that race up there. The Echo Press Management has been in bed with the DFL for years. Nothing new there!
Any bets on who they choose for the Office of President of the United States? Even the liberal Des Moines Register supports Romney. First support for a Republican since 1972!

Saying the EP is liberal-focused is crazy. Two of the three endorsements here were for GOP’ers, they’ll be part of the Forum-mandated endorsement of Romney, and they’ve endorsed Westrom and Ingebretson in the past. On local elections they’re going with mostly conservative candidates.

Really? The local persons mentioned are very, very popular within the District – more so, perhaps, than Mary Franson. Mary still kicked butt in her first shot at the legislature, but some up there like to focus on the insignificant things – not real substance. The DFL followers so often like to dwell on the trivial. Mary is a genuine conservative, like her or not. She supports the people – not some flimsy ideology.
