Bernie Lieder, Crookston, column: Rep. Kiel and GOP leave Minnesota worse off

Minnesota always has been a quality-of-life state, but this has been stalemated for the past several years. It is time to move forward. Our representative again should provide representation for us, not for insurance companies, corporations and big businesses. Continue Reading

Mr. Lieder is a very experienced, knowledgeable guy, but his politics is faulty. Mn is hurting right now partly because the business climate is hurting. Big business is the big employers. All business is important. It’s misleading to slam insurance companies, corporations and big businesses. Lieder’s side passes laws stifling power companies, trashing reasonable electric rates. Big power companies fight to keep rates low, but since they are big, it’s a swear word to his type, but they are truly made up of little folks like you and me. Mn legislators need to legislate for all of Mn., not just Crookston. It’s a little dishonest to suggest otherwise. We are in this pickle partly because of Kiel’s predecessors. Re-elect Deb Kiel.

Deb Kiel has done nothing for her district. If you talk to her, you will know she is in over her head. She is not intelligent enough to be in the house. In a meeting she said, “I have been told to vote a certain way”. She doesn’t listen to the people she represents. Deb Kiel needs to go!
