They couldn’t have started this back in June? When campus was only in summer school mode, as opposed to Fall Semester. I mean they put the cones out then. Honestly, who is doing the planning here. If it was a big enough issue to put cones out in June- then it was an issue that needed an immediate fix. Instead they wait half a year, and are trying to cram it in before winter, and while UND has it’s most students. Something is wrong with that picture- then why have the cones out on the overpass all summer cutting down northbound traffic to one lane- when they were never going to get to it in the first place. Whomever was planning this should be fired because it makes absolutely no sense. That is the first time in my life, I’ve called for someone’s job, but this situation appears it was handled and scheduled so utterly incompetently that I think it should apply.

People when you come on and head north from the ramp it is your job to merge when an opening comes in traffic and oncoming traffic does not stop for you.

So they will be taking up parking spots under the North side of the bridge, to fix a problem on the South side of 17 sets of active railroad tracks on BNSF property? All the while displacing paying UND students who already have trouble getting spaces during peak class hours on that corner of campus? Makes perfect sense, no reason this will enrage a significant amount of commuters and students.

This is what they pay planners for?
