Obama, Romney square off in final debate
October 22, 2012 at 7:00 pm in West Central Tribune
BOCA RATON, Fla. President Obama sharply challenged Mitt Romney on foreign policy in their final campaign debate Monday night, saying, “every time you’ve offered an opinion you’ve been wrong.” The Republican coolly responded, “Attacking me is not an agenda” for dealing with a dangerous world. How can one dislike a story about our Hero’s who risk their lives everyday to protect us here? What kind of world are we living in where people have zero respect for the men and women who serve this country? I’m sorry but you don’t have to like the comment but don’t try to hide the comment in order to protect your precious Obama who failed to protect them. It’s an important story that needs to be heard.
Hot debate. What do you think?

Notice with soo few posts but soo many zombies with NOTHING to say immediately silence anthing about their failed hero. His name will soon only be read in the history books after our election. These zombies will evaporate and we more thoughtful persons will again have our posts read!

well for me … a hyperlink to anything said by Beck is something I would never read … oh my to anything that comes out of his mouth … sorry I don’t believe a word he says … I will admit that I saw O’Reilly on one of the late night shows a couple of nights ago and was surprised … what happened to him??? he was actually rather pleasant to listen to … I would no sooner believe anything that Mr. Beck had to say as I’m sure you would believe anything that Ms. Maddow had to say …
now regarding education … again …. how do you propose we fix this??? I presume the unions are all to fault … so if we strip every union right in this country …. how do YOU think we should hire teachers … should we pay them minimum wage??? are you inferring that they are all lazy bums??? you can complain all you want, but where is the plan … any plan … how do you propose upping those education scores since you believe it is only the unions fault??? are you willing to teach???? show me this magnificent plan and then we can talk … complaining does nothing … show me the action … if there is anything I dislike it’s talking with no action … I sit in enough meetings where they want to talk stuff to death … I am an action person … if I can’t come up with a solution what good does it do to complain …. so out with all those lazy bum teachers, and in with what????

Jesse,
So you think the man talking speaking out about what happened to his son is lying because he was on Glen Beck?

Personally, I don’t believe teachers need a union. Maybe any public employee! Unions began as a help to private employees who needed protection from employers taking advantage of them. As for upping test scores, it’s not the task only of educators to teach children. Parents need to take some responsibility in this matter. Ask a kid in school if his parents read to him or if he reads to his parents. Unbelievable how many kids say “no”. Direct government to stop mandating things we can’t pay for. Hold students back if they haven’t acquired the skill to pass to the next grade. Allow teachers to discipline. Our schools have become too involved in the parenting aspect. Kids are in school for an education (reading, math, science etc). The parents should be teaching the child how to be a productive, mannerly human being. Jessie, I didn’t poke dislike but am commenting anyway. I agree- I won’t listen to Glen or Rachel. Way too far right and far left!

Gallup reorts today “Romney currently leads Obama 52% to 45% among voters who say they have already cast their ballots
The bipartisan Battleground Poll, in its “vote election model,” is projecting that Mitt Romney will defeat President Obama 52 percent to 47 percent.
GALLUP MONDAY: R 51% O 46%…
The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Ohio Voters shows Romney with 50% support to President Obama’s 48%
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows Mitt Romney attracting support from 49% of voters nationwide, while President Obama earns the vote from 47%
The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Wisconsin Voters shows the president and his Republican challenger each earning 49% support.
Michigan and Pennslyvania close.
I do not care who won the debates, but polling data suggests Romney/Ryan helped themselves considerably. Right?

if ‘moderate’ Mitt is elected I don’t have a problem with that … my problem is he is ‘beholding’ to the radical right … sorry I can no longer be barefoot and pregnant. take that as you may that is how I feel the Republican party is now … I’m not even sure you can call it that name anymore … it is NOT the party I grew up with, nor is it the party I supported for so many years … perhaps it is time to retire the name and just stick with the tea party … at the end of the day, no matter who is elected, the economy is GOING TO IMPROVE … whether it is the current president or if Mr. Romney is elected …. I’m pretty sure the dems will retain the Senate, the Tea Party will retain the House … and I imagine it is time that the dems become the ‘obstructionist party’ and make life a living ‘heck’ for any tea party people … so the next 4 years will be similar to the last 4 years … but instead of the Tea Party doing everything they can to make sure Pres. Obama did not get reelected, the dems will do the same to a possible Romney presidency … do you notice a pattern … we the people … those in the middle anyway, are just stuck … no one listens to us … I refuse to be hard right and I refuse to be hard left … that leaves me left out … I am (as I’ve said before) a woman without a party. but unlike some, I won’t feel my life is over if either one is elected … we will muddle through as we have the past 4 years. nothing will get done … that is one thing we can be assured of!
