I figured that when the Herald came out for Brown that they were dumping their no endoresement policy. When does the Vote for Heidi column appear?

This is a very good editorial. It highlights the importance of getting people to Washington who are not so stuck in their partisanship that they can not get anything done. It furthermore adds weight to the argument to defeat Rick Berg, although it doesn’t go that far afield. Berg’s stated goal in life is to “fight Obama”. That, as far as I am concerned, should tell us he is going to just add to the gridlock. He will just compound the dysfuntion in Washington, not be a positive force for the people of North Dakota.

What planet are you living on? It is nothing but partisanship in DC…both sides. No more Tip and Ronnie getting together for a drink.

So we shouldn’t strive for something better? Just because that’s the way it’s been, doesn’t mean we have to add to the problem. At least Heidi is amenable to working together, whereas we know Berg is just going to vote “no” regardless.

Klobuchar and Heitkamp are just shills for their fellow greedy trial lawyers.

You shouldn’t preach about partisanship. You think Obama hung the moon. No matter what you jump to his defense.

I guess I’m just a patriotic American who supports our President, unlike some who disparage everything he has done.

“patriotic American who supports our President.” Remember, folks. It’s “patriotic” to support your president now, unlike 4 years ago when Libs considered it “patriotic” to disparage Bush and paint him as an ignorant chimp who couldn’t think himself out of a paper bag. I’m guessing, realist, that like our current First Lady, you too only became proud of your country after Obama was elected. Am I right?

I thought about defending myself for being patriotic, but I think I’ll take the advice of George Bernard Shaw who said, “I learned long ago never to wrestle with a pig. You get dirty and besides, the pig likes it.”

Isn’t patriotism love of one’s country not the person ruling it?

Kelly Clow: I think realist remembered just how patriotic and respectful he was to President Bush, compared the debate with you to wrestling a muddy pig and disengaged. Typical.
