Yep, slow was an overestimate for the southeast part of the state. Rather than a vehicle every hour going by our home to the CRP fields, the CRP is gone and we saw but one vehicle of hunters all day yesterday. Based on what we saw when we were out hunting, almost all the rest of the CRP was either mowed to resemble a putting green or dug up awaiting next year’s planting season. The only good thing was that much of that ethanol corn was picked already.
