In order to keep the my love of my siblings and friends I deleted my FB account. Easier to temporarily put myself through a social withdrawal then to deal with the extreme political views of either side.

I unsubscribe from there post updates but still keep them as friends. My news feed is quiet enough for me and I do not damage any friendships with my conservative friends. The hardest lesson to learn is that everyone has an opinion and no one ever shuts up about it, but you don’t have to listen. I love my friends. I don’t like some of their political views, but that is life. Accept it or become a hermit.

I deleted my FB acct because I don’t want to know all there is to know about the people I know.

I have never had an FB. The early snafus they had as regarded privacy kept me away.
