Lawmakers must fill in blanks if voter ID passes

ST. PAUL Both sides in Minnesota’s voter photo identification debate try to paint pictures about how life would look if the requirement passes Nov. 6, but the real picture has yet to be painted. Continue Reading

I am in support of voter ID and will vote yes for this amendment. If we had voter ID when Franken ran against Coleman for Senate, the 400 ballots in the car trunk would not have been counted. Talk about fraud.
Hot debate. What do you think?

And Bush beat Gore by 537 vote in Florida, setting the stage for the US Supreme Court to hand him the election.
Would voter ID in FL have rooted out those Republican fraudster voters and changed the course of history?
Which election – the US presidential rate in 2000 or the MN Senatorial race in 2008 – had the worse outcome, the biggest impact on the world?

The only reason I can see for being against voter ID. would be that you wanted the door left open for illegal voting!

Right on deano. That’s why the dems are so against it. They want every illegal to vote and twice at that. Have you ever seen a MN voter registration application? A dead cat could register.

It’s hardly a “dem”- only problem. If you’ve been paying attention, you will know about the fraudulent Republican voter registrations which started in Florida, then spread to 6 other swing states. Of course, the Republican National Committee who hired the company fired it after this was unearthed, but what would have happened had it not been uncovered? Did they fire them ONLY because they got caught?

You still want to stand by your preposterous claim? This information will likely mean nothing to you, but perhaps it will to others.
The Republican party in MN pretty step it up to register more “dead cats”, since it’s so easy. They’ll need those votes if they have any hope of putting the state in the Romney column.
