Wind energy backers remain Highland boosters

If Highland Wind Farm developers get their way, 41 turbines will be installed across that rural township landscape by the end of next year. A large number of local residents are up in arms over the idea. Still others are perfectly fine with the plans.

Well, that’s true. Nobody will want to move in anywhere near these things.

I’m sure the money these homeowners will get for having these turbines on their land doesn’t hurt either.

It would be interesting to see who would show up if one of the non-hosting neighbors wanted to start a giant pig farm, have large rock concerts, host a large motocross track or develop a airstrip.
