“The government cannot bill you for the penalties; it can – I repeat – can keep income tax refunds due you.”
What’s the difference?
I’m not going to bother picking apart Mr. Dahlman’s article bit by bit. I would just ask everyone reading this to look at how Medicare is hemorraging dollars now and ask yourself if you think doubling down on federal government involvement in health care is really a good thing for America.
You’re not going to get a lot of honest answers about health care from politicians. They are all deathly afraid to tell you that government can’t take care of you from cradle to grave, because that’s what we’ve all come to expect from government. Perhaps when we get to the point where government spending reaches a multiple of GDP, as it has in many European countries facing economic collapse, we’ll wake up. By then it could be way too late.
Vote for Obama and Klobuchar this November and you will be voting for Obama-Care and a future for this country that will be disastrous. Put Romney in the White House and turn the Senate over to the Republicans and there will at least be a chance to repeal this.
Hot debate. What do you think?
