Oh no….ANOTHER local Republican endorsement.
So many on AV have stated that for sure, the DNT would endorse DFL locals and only go for the GOP endorsements at the federal level. Ooops…wrong again.

The Duluth News Tribune definitely has taken a Conservative/Republican tilt with it’s stories and endorsements. This makes me wonder…when did Fox News buy up the Duluth News Tribune?

How can candidates say they’ll be ‘independent’ when they get shunned for voting with the opposite party. Ask the 6 GOP’ers who voted to raise the gas tax and override a veto and got shunned for their trouble. If a DFL legislator votes against their party on an issue where the vote is needed, I’m pretty sure a primary challenge would be guaranteed. The only thing that separates us from being a parliamentary system for all practial purposes is the ability to elect a Governor of an opposing party.

To most Minnesotans, Scanlon is a no-name town that nobody’s ever heard of. What’s this guy going to run as? Mayor Sugar Daddy? Or perhaps Mayor I-Have-No-Clue-Why-We’re-Not-Part-Of-Cloquet?
