More than half of the approximately 27 sand traps at Hillcrest Golf Course have drainage problems, and the Jamestown Parks and Recreation Commission is looking at ways of fixing them.

They just figured this out now? I have called them mud traps for years.

To clarify: They’ve been aware of it for a while and tried to fix it (by cleaning out the drainage systems there are, which I believe are considered inadequate) in the past.
