Our View: Reinert, from the middle, has more to do in St. Paul

If we as voters truly are tired of the extremists from the left and from the right refusing to budge and preferring good ideas die to the other side getting credit, then we owe it to the future of our representative democracy to keep electing leaders like state Sen. Roger Reinert.

Never forget that this man was one of the egotistical maniacs on both sides of the aisle who thought he was worthy to receive pay last summer when thousands of state employees did not. Reinert took his pay during the state shut down in spite of the fact that he and ALL his fellow polititians failed to work together to get a deal done. Some (democrats and republicans) acknowledged their failure by not taking pay. Somehow Roger here thought he was better than that. Do not vote this man back in! Or any of the others who took pay (Gauthier was another but I guess that’s a moot point now).

I like how he puts his nose to the grindstone, and can really sniff out public dollars for his constituents!
