I agree, the little girl was excited that Romney was kneeling to take a picture with them, then the AP has to try to, yet again, diminish the good things people may do. He didn’t have to stop at the school, etc. Here’s the story and the reason the girl was excited. I think the Globe is getting too caught up in the “messiah” worship. I haven’t seen anything here about the White House finally admitting that they were lying about the Benghazi attacks all along, and knew 24 hours in advance that it was coming.

I don’t know what’s funnier… the picture or your hypocritical indignation.
If that were a picture of President Obama, you’d be laughing out loud and sending it out to all your like-minded friends. It’s just a picture, for God’s sake. Who cares about the back story?
As for the Globe “Messiah worshiping”… that’s insane. If the Globe prints something you LIKE (like the gentleman’s letter praising Romney today) you’re all gung-ho. If they print something you don’t, well you’re screaming “left wing conspiracy”. The Globe does a pretty good job including columnists with differing views. Yep, we know you hate the progressive ones, because you’ve said so repeatedly. But you’re not quick to criticize Cal Thomas, are you? Some people will never be happy. Just pick and choose what to read and move on.

Who cares about the back story?”—- Someone must care about the back story or the AP wouldn’t be getting so much heat for publishing it. “We fell short,” I believe was the comment from an AP Executive. And, they would not publish a picture of obama like that, they are trying their best to get him elected. Hypocritical indignation. How many pictures of Biden and his smirks and laughs in his debate with Ryan did we see? Now that showed true character of Biden and the dems. By the way, Ryan handled him very respectable even though Biden showed immature childish behavior.

According to Nielsen ratings, more than 51 million people watched the VP debate live on TV. So, everybody saw how both candidates behaved and will form their own judgments. The debate was endlessly revisited and even parodied for days after. No shortage of exposure.
I’m CERTAIN that far more people saw the debates than saw this silly picture of Mr. Romney! And of those who did see the picture, the vast majority have forgotten it and moved on. What’s keeping you from doing the same?
Are you going to get out your pitchforks and torches and storm the Daily Globe offices, calling for editorial heads? Or shall we move on?
