I laughed at that JR. I thought he pulled the kid Monsun out of the game to quick. You could see Grounds had nothing last night and he puts Monsun in only to run an option on his second play of his varsity career and he fumbles. Bit of a risky play for a sophomore QB making his varsity debut. Just think the kid should of been given another chance since he is the future at QB. Could of seen how he handled a little adversity.

I agree Jim. The season is over so they might as well get their QB of the future some reps in the next few games. I think it makes sense to start preparing for next season.
But then again, I’m a complete outsider when it comes to BJ football and don’t see what goes on at practice and I definitely don’t know the politics of the situation.

I just feel that we need more than 8 plays in our playbook. You could see the same play run about every time we had the ball. The QB run optioin with the toss to Cook. I heard a person yell behind me it hasnt worked all game why would it the 10th time. Very true. We need to sit in the off season and make that playbook a little thicker. Lets get risky on some of these plays. And yes lets leave Monson in. Grounds was shot. The kid plays all ends of the ball. We have 60 kids that cant play that position? We all in all just need to change things up. Do different stuff. Each week we prepare for our opponant and end up coming out running the same plays.

I mentioned that about Grounds 3 games ago and I got ripped for it by a couple posters on here. The kids arm was like a wet noodle friday night. Either keep him on D and let Monsun be QB or have Grounds play QB exclusively. I would like to see what this Monsun kid has myself.
