I, for one, am glad he won. He has a track record of business acumen. Ken Buehler on the other hand has acumen in asking for other people for money for his projects.

Deemer and Beebe, give the guy a break. He’s open minded, but mis-understood individual.
He done much for Duluth, he opened the Fitgers Brewhouse, Duluth’s truly first gay establishment, inspite of what other bars may claim. He’s always been a supporter of our Pride Parades and events. He’s always been there for us. He’s an asset to the Twin Ports.

It really doesn’t matter whether people like him or not. He’s willing to invest in Duluth and has a proven track record of owning/running sucessful businesses in the city and that’s really all that matters.
