Mr. Hamilton cites various forums at which he and his opponent have appeared, and will continue to appear, up until election day. Are any of these upcoming appearances going to give the voters a chance to see them debate 1 on 1, as Weber and Oberloh will do on October 25? Or will they be panels? I can’t tell from this story.
The Pioneer TV debate would give interested voters throughout the district the opportunity to hear from the candidates 1 on 1, without leaving the comfort of their homes. What Mr. Hamilton suggests is that voters will need to travel to scattered venues to compare his views with Ms. Avenel-Navarra’s. Lots of people are unable to do attend in person, but might watch on TV. I suggest he accept the October 25 broadcast event to reach a broader audience.
