marriage is a bond between 2 loving people. It doesn’t matter if they are gray blue black or white. Anyone should be able to marry the person they choose. This admendment is outdated and bigatory. You can believe whatever you want and in whatever “god” you want but do not force your personal beliefs on anyone else. this should get the ball rolling…

Fact is, that dictating that the only legitimate marriage is between heterosexuals is, like blue laws, one last vestige of the lack of a separation between Church and State. Priests, ministers, rabbis, can refuse to “consecrate” the rite, but since marriage is, above all, a social contract, there should be no obstacle, as long as both are consenting adults.

Correct. Once they bring “God” into the ad, they admit that their definition of marriage is defined by their particular God or their particular religion. Fine, your church (whichever one) can make the distinction of one man, one woman, and further, if your church won’t marry same sex couples, fine by us, but don’t force any other religion or persons to accept your definition or beliefs

I’ll call this one in direct language — opponents of gay marriage seem to have two problems:
1. They can’t help minding other peoples’ business.
2. They may be repressing their own homosexual or bisexual urges
…and yes, there is some interesting research supporting #2.

The anti-gay people use to use the “sanctity” of marriage in their arguments. Wonder what happened to that? Too many of them divorced once or twice already?

Surprising they did not use Michelle Bachmann and her husband Marcus in the ads. Wait they can’t do that since Mchelle is married to a gay man herself.

Funny how people can just lurk here giving out negatives wthout having the strength in their convictions to make their argument.
