No surprise there, does that mean our state government will finally look to support a different energy export? SD is one of the windiest states in the country, yet we’re way down the list as far as generation goes. The state needs to get behind the support and development of new transmission lines which will enable our wind energy to move eastward where they need it. Iowa already has 1 or 2 transmission projects in development to do the same thing; why can’t we work together to build economic development in the entire region? Probably because that is out of the box thinking and by gosh, Pierre can’t pick up the phone to propose that.
