A Wild Hog-sponsored marathon, eh? I can’t wait for the Crystal Sugar-sponsored diabetes clinic.

Negative Ghost Rider. You need to be able to run a marathon in order to burn off all of the calories you consume there. Makes perfect sense to me.

I like it. It is good to see a new business sponsor an event like this instead of Altru…

Cheers to the event organizers, participants, and volunteers. Runners, if this is your first event get ready for some fun and you WILL do it again. Volunteers, you will also feel great and maybe sign up next year to be part of the fun. Organizers, watch the cash roll in, marathons are gaining in popularity all over the nation. I am waiting for the inevitable whining about someone who had to add five minutes to their morning commute (even though events like these, if they grow, can mean millions). And kudos to Grand Forks for assisting with this event, even though they are normally deathly scared of anything new.

My sister is running in the 5K. She is 72 years old and this is her 21st marathon. I couldn’t be more proud of her. Go Darlyne.
