Human rights official: homelessness priority issue in North Dakota
September 25, 2012 at 1:15 am in Grand Forks Herald
The North Dakota Human Rights Coalition is working on a new campaign and its slogan says it all: Every North Dakotan deserves a home. Continue Reading

“a young woman who said she was denied an apartment even though she had secured a voucher for rental assistance.”
There’s a word for folks who expect other people to pay their bills.
That word is “Parasite”.
” more immigration equals more crime, but statistics show that “is absolutely not true, not locally, anyway.”
Correction: “not locally, not YET, anyway.” The crime is coming. We just haven’t noticed the increase YET. Give it some time.

Y’know what? I have reconsidered my response above.
The additional crime tied to population increase from outside ND is ALREADY HERE. Look at the west-end oilfield area. Thousands of folks migrating to North Dakota, and the crime increase is so bad that we’ve got at least one person (Ryan Taylor) campaigning for public office on the basis that he’ll increase police and court staffing levels.

It will only get WORSE.
See a quick example of what Minnesota is going through with regard to crime caused by Somali immigrants:

Lutheran Social Services should pay EVERY DIME of the costs incurred by criminal activities of their “sponsored” people, including costs of jail time, fines, and restitution.

I read this somewhere, but cannot remember:
You can draw a circle around a Section 8 housing and that will be a crime zone.
If the occupants of that Section 8 housing have a vehicle (car, etc.), then extend the radius of that crime zone farther out.
Diversity is our strength is what they preach.
The people that lived next to me lived in Section 8 rental property. They had a TV dish and an air conditioner. I worked for a living and had neither. The welfare queen had both and it was paid for by the taxpayer.
Unless someone is disabled and/or elderly, there are enough jobs in North Dakota to work.

“Diversity is our strength is what they preach. ”
Typical social-engineering propaganda.
“Diversity” should be WELL-TOLERATED. It should not be actively encouraged.

I have yet to have any advocate explain to me why diversity and multiculturalism are a good.

“Every North Dakotan deserves a home”
That sounds familiar….. Thats right, thats what Bill Clinton said when he forced banks to give loans to people who couldnt afford them and as soon as the incentives and arms came due we had the wonderful housing crisis we are facing today.
Heres a thought, how about we go back to the old fashioned way of thinking where every American is entitled to a shot at the American Dream as long as they get off their rears and earn their slice of that pie.
Govt used to just stay out of the peoples lives and let them decide through their own actions if they had the white picket fence or if they lived under a bridge.
Todays Troll under the bridge is entitled to your tax dollars to get them a place to live.
This quote may or may not have ever been said but i believe it fits regardless.
“We cannot expect Americans to jump from capitalism to Communism, but we can assist their elected leaders in giving Americans small doses of socialism until they suddenly awake to find they have Communism.”
-Soviet Leader Nikita Khrushchev, 1959

Govt was design to be the servant. It’s been the master for decades.

Do away with the ND Human RIghts Coalition and give their funding to homeless shelters. Problem solved.
