As a “seasonal resident” of Alexandria and a payer of property tax and sales tax, I am offended by your newspaper’s opinion that I have no right to display political signs in my yard. I am probably better informed about local issues than most residents. What happened to the First Amendment Mr. Editor. The person that called to whine about signs was likely the same one who put a note on our windshield – anonomously – telling us to remove our signs. Thumbs downs to E.P.
