Yet another example of Robinson’s famous “too much mistake.” Back when Sinner was governor, he tried to get major consolidation of districts. It never happened. People want there own schools, even if it means 3 seniors graduating per year. Oh, they’ll field sports teams with 8 names, but not the academic side. It’s a huge waste on money, but in this case it’s ok.

Years ago, there was alot more farms and the farm families were bigger. Also, transportation was poor (bad roads, etc.). Now it is easier for school buses to go longer distances with better roads.
Know there are better roads and the farms are bigger. At one time, Adams was a booming community. Now alot of land is in CRP and the farmers that farm the available tillable acres are alot bigger.
Do not try to rewrite history. At one time Adams could support a school with students. The population went down over the years. The closure is sad.
Some communities in northwestern North Dakota lost their schools and now could use them back. Its all about demographics.
