Congratulations, Doctor Rogers!
I have learned so much about bears from this man… with an OPEN mind and, with a big HEART! I have learned all the misconceptions about the Black Bear as well, and I owe that to the researchers in Ely, MN.
Wishing others could see the beauty in this beautiful creature and LEARN and EDUCATE themselves!

One thing that does exist here are comments by some spiteful people who demonstrate their ignorance than their ability to think. Rogers expansion means that people up in the Ely area will be put to work building this addition. Also those people who have an interest in bears will travel up to Ely to spend time and money which means money going into the community. Sounds like a no brainer to me.
