I was born in Duluth. I am an alcoholic/addict. I was clean and sober for fourteen years, in AA. I got sick. After fourteen years, I went back out. I am stiil an alcoholic/addict, but, my current health does not allow me to get loaded. God has a plan, I do not. Now, I have cancer. That is not negotiable. We are only as sober as we can imagine. There are worse things. Get a sponsor. I was great one, but, I stumbled. We all stumble, from time to time. Only fools quit. I am not a real fool, I only play one in my real life. At least I read the news on the internet and try to tell my truth. I should be proud. I am only dying. Oh, poor me, poor me. Pour me another Margarita. Nobody I now know has ever even tried marijjuana. Imagine… it is not as easy staying sober, we have to believe there is hope. I only see hope for a few rich people, not for me. You can wake up without a hangover, if not on a planet you want to live on.
