The Linn’s are definitely trying to strongarm the liquor store in Newport Center. They’ve offered their unrented sites to many different businesses in Newport, with no takers. The rent is too high, and it makes no sense to move across the street for more money. They’re trying to drive legitimate businesses out of Newport for no good reason, just their greed. I’d rather push my vehicle home than spend my money at any business the Linn’s own!
