Whens you want to” make cuts to Medicare and Social Security, by demanding that the rich pay their fair share in taxes, by passing healthcare reform that affects the majority of Americans and doesn’t just benefit the healthcare providers and also by continuing to bring the troops home from two failed wars.”(thanks to freethinker) That sound like rebuilding . But when you” give the rich more tax breaks that aren’t paid for, one that will end Medicare as we know it and leave our seniors with a coupon for their insurance, repeal the Affordable Care Act which has allowed millions to be insured that previously could not due to pre-existing conditions, and one that will take us into a war with Iran. “(again thanks to freethinker) What are you building? It would not be a country that is looking after MY best interests.

Why do people have such a problem with the people that have lived, worked, the hardest and the smartest not paying more than they already do which is for virtually everything than with the people that don’t pay any income taxes. Don’t we all live in this country. Wouldnt fair mean everyone is helping to pay for living here. How much should the rich pay? Isnt 20-40 percent enough?

Because in the “old days” that everyone likes to remember. The time when America became the greatest country…they were pay 70% and over. They only make 3-4 times more than the people that worked for them. It was illegal for them to move both their business and money out of the country.
What makes you think they have lived and worked the hardest? What makes you think they are the smartest? Yes you do have your Bill Gates (who would pay higher taxes, by the way) but I would say MOST (Romney) are hardly the hardest working. He’s not dumb by any means….but he’s not in Obama’s league.

Wait, are you in that category? I think not. Why would you defend them because believe me, they don’t give a rat’s *** about you or anyone else. Most are completly self serving. They don’t serve the “public good”. They serve themselves.
