Ron, maybe people should have children when they are married and, as a family, can afford to raise them ie: feed them, house them, clothe them, provide healthcare etc. Thats what our forefathers did and it worked out pretty well for nearly 200 years. Sounds old fashioned. secondly, dont farmer raise corn and cows? If the farmer wants to feed his corn to his cows, doesn’t he have that right? If corn fed is best fed, shouldn’t the farmer make that decision?

Twenty six food processor groups are asking for a waiver on the ethanol mandate, out of concern that otherwise, 42% of the corn crop will go for making ethanol, and there won’t be enough corn for canned goods, frozen goods, restaurants, etc, given that the corn crop will be 13% lower, due to drought conditions. The coalition asking for the waiver includes seven state governors, as well as food manufacturers that run the gamut from bakers and brewers to snack, seafood, and canned goods processors. The United Nations is urging the United States, which grows much of its corn for international food markets, to scale back its production of corn-based ethanol. 200 national legislators have called for a stop to ethanol production.
So, what does this say about the claim that “Ethanol Production Vital to Potentially End World Hunger”? Are we to believe that these 26 food-processor groups don’t know what the hell they’re talking about, or perhaps they’re politically motivated in blind hatred of the ethanol industry? Or, isn’t it more likely that the claim that ethanol production actually INCREASES the amount of food production, is just so much propaganda for the ethanol industry?
Its time that we realize the failings of corn ethanol, stop devoting so much of a valuable resources to this wasteful project, and feed the hungry. The science is clear: The use of corn and other biofuels to solve our energy problem is an ethically, economically and environmentally unworkable sham.

UNDER THE AMERICAN POLITICAL-ECONOMIC SYSTEM LABOR CREATED AND CREATES CAPITOL, UNLIKE THE BRITISH FREE TRADE SYSTEM OF TODAY WHICH CONTROLS AMERICAS ECONOMIC SYSTEM. THE BRITISH FREE TRADE SYSTEM HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE ENEMY OF THE AMERICAN POLITICAL-ECONOMIC SYSTEM OF OUR FOUNDING FATHERS. ONE LEADS ITS PEOPLE TO PROSPERITY THE OTHER ENDS IN GENOCIDE. ASK HOW WASHINGTON, HAMILTON, J.O.ADAMS, LINCOLN, MCKINLEY, FDR AND JFK USED THE AMERICAN POLITICAL-ECONOMIC SYSTEM OF STATE CREATED CREDITS AND NOT WALL STREET TO BUILD THE GREAT INDUSTRIAL GIANT OF USA. IDEAS [SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY] CREATE REAL WEALTH AND A BEAUTIFUL FUTURE. IT’S TIME THE AMERICANS EDUCATE THEMSELVES WITH SCIENCE AND THE TRUTH. WALL STREET AND ITS INVESTMENT BANKERS ARE DESTROYING THE AMERICAN SYSTEM. AMERICA MUST REPLACE ITS BELIEF SYSTEM BASED ON RHETORIC, SOPHISTRY, AND POPULAR OPINION WITH PROVEN TRUTH.
