Watching the images of 911, and listening to the terror in the voices of witnesses continues to strike a cord in many people. The fact no politicians were allowed to speak, and some familes stopped showing up, means some familes of the victims just want to move on. I believe we should always remember the victims and this biggest terorist act on America every single year, no matter how this Nation decides to remember those who were killed. As a former fire-fighter I have a tough time with the fact our fire fighters and men in blue went into those towers while everyone was running away. They went into unknown situations to save as many lives as they could, then lost their lives when the buildings suddenly collapsed. This is still very hard for me to deal with when I watch it, but that is the noble actions of good people who don’t think twice, they just react and do what they were trained to do, they are Heros forever! God bless all our Police, Firefighters, Rescue and some ordinary people who also risked their lives so that others can live.
