This is a head-scratcher—at the same time as the City Administration is reducing pubic protection by eliminating the Park Point Fire Station, it is increasing the city property tax levy in order to swell the size of City Hall’s non-essential payroll. It certainly makes you wonder how City Hall rationalizes its priorities of what is in the public interest.
