Stillwater bridge set to close

Motorists in the eastern Twin Cities Metro Area and western Wisconsin will experience delays and a detour as the Stillwater lift bridge spanning the St. Croix River between Stillwater and Houlton closes on Monday, Sept. 10.
Repairs to the lift bridge began July 9. Much of the work on the bridge beneath the driving surface has been completed, and attention now turns to the sections above.

Uh, guys? That’s a picture of the Hudson railroad bridge, not the Stillwater bridge. As far as I have heard the railroad bridge is not closing, nor is it in Stillwater.

Looking at this picture makes me now understand why the Sierra Club fought the new bridge. This really is a stunning view of the King Power Plant and the railroad bridge.

Ok, you fixed the picture on the main page, but the picture on the comments page still shows the RR bridge. My dead-tree version shoes the right bridge, too.
