You’d think that, but then just imagine all the Mr. Potato Head posters, and jokes…”Time to mash the spuds…..” I could see it going terrible wrong….From a powerful image of The Fighting Sioux to a laughable image of Spud Power…..I don’t think so…..The same goes for Beets….I still think just the Tundra Pack would sound pretty cool…A bit of a play on a wolf pack, but one I don’t thnk any other team is using

What? I already settled the nickname and the logo issues. The UND athletic teams will be known from now on as the Fighting Black Hearts. The logo will be of two snakes joined to make a heart. Spuds? pffft
