Great letter Jerry and very true. After the 2010 election, all the freshman Republicans that were elected, most of them belonging to the Tea Party, to the US House and Senate made a very public vow to make President Obama a one-term President. As we sit here coming up on the 2012 election, it seems that those Republicans put that vow above what was good for the nation. To me, this mess that we are in right now lies more with Congress as they are the ones who vote on the issues, rather than the President.
