A good portion of the county forest south of Iron River was clear cut logged this past year. As a result my wife and I haven’t spent any time or money at our cabin this year it’s too depressing. Heavy industry like mining and logging don’t mix where people recreate. You can’t have it both ways; some other industry like tourism will suffer if you mine or clear cut log in lake country.

Then you should have boughten the Land adjacent to yours so you can “Look/See” your Mosquito Nest,,, if you call that recreation.
Your “Woods” is the most miserablist place to be in the Summer months.
It is Hot, Humid and full of Bugs & Mosquito’s.
By walking 200 feet into your “Woods” will only get you a,,, Twisted Ankle,,, a Stick in the Eye,,,, some kind of Scrape or Cut or Hornet Bite. Possible deadly disease from Mosquito Bites. The list goes on…….
Without Mining or Logging ,,, we the People would NOT be living in this Area !!!
But yet,,, at the same Time,,,, these WAACO’s would rather see it Burn,,,, like in the Cave Man days,,,, rather than use Our God Given Resources,,, Trees & Minerals !!!!
