All I can say is this guy needs to be made an example of, after shattering the lives of a family by his careless disregard for the law. He not only was over the limit but had a cooler full of booze, not counting the open bottle in the truck, and a bottle of booze found broken on the road. No doubt this guys family has money because no sooner then bail was set, there was 30 grand cash posted, and he was out of jail. The driver of the truck left In his wake 3 people dead, including a child because of being legally drunk! If not for a passer by the other child might have died? According some people who knew the couple that tried to help those in the van, the husband pulled open the door as the van was on fire pulling a screaming child from the van. After he learned that two people were already dead he broke down and cried, probably emotionally drained. The site was a bit gruesome from what I heard, with the driver and passenger traped and burning in the mangled mess. No one knows if the driver of the pickup had someone with him, but by all indications he was said to be alone. This is murder but the law states otherwise. This was no accident because the driver knew all too well the dangers of drinking and driving and again paid no mind to the law he just didn’t care and thought it couldn’t happen to him! Lets hope he gets the book thrown at him, and but good, something like 30yrs? Of course if he gets 12yrs I’ll be surprised!

Jimmy, he deserves nothing less than a needle in his arm. He is a murderer.

No matter what criminal sentence this young man will have imposed, it will not compare to the life long sentence he will impose on himself. I would have to believe each and every time he shuts off the light and closes his eyes he will see the events of that incident.

Randy it appears that there are a good number of people who don’t agree with me or you. I believe it is murder, especially when you intentionally drink and drive and as a result some innocent person is killed!

As humans, we have the right to self-defense and our government putting a needle in this guy’s arm is appropriate self-defense for myself and my family.

I wonder why the WCT hasn’t even mentioned the name of the person who saved the little boy’s life. Saw the piece on KARE 11 news–what a blessing for the family that he was there and able to save at least one life. Can’t imagine what it must be like for him emotionally either–

From what I was told the couple who stopped especially the husband are having some emotional issues so you can only imagine what he saw and is dealing with?
