Beautiful tribute to all our wonderful canine family members, Sam. I looked at my beagle, sprawled out beside my chair as I sit here at the computer, and echoed your words. “Don’t you ever die.” But they do, and we grieve, and then we find another one because we can’t bear to be without their special brand of love.
