If you make false statements often enough, does that make them true? I think not.

They are just worried that the thousands of illegals would not be able to vote…

The only reason I disagree with ID to vote is that I believe it’s a solution to a non-existent problem. It’s more unneccessary government regulation. Voting is a right guaranteed to every American in the constitution. Just like owning a gun. But wait, all we’ve heard about since conceal carry became an issue is “don’t you dare step on my 2nd amendment right”. If I remember correctly, we were allowed to own and carry guns prior to conceal carry; they just couldn’t be hidden under your jacket. That was too much regulation, though. Now another group is doing the exact same thing…trying to limit the amount of regulation put in front of a basic American right.
There are always going to be those that don’t follow the rules, whether it’s a nut job shooting up a theater or a crook casting votes on behalf of dead people.
If I have to trust every gun toting citizen to abide by the laws as they were intended, why can’t you trust that I will only vote once?

Well, here’s a reason: In order to get a CCW permit, I am required to take a class AND show my ID.
Kari, you may not be voting twice, but others will. In the same manner, I may not violate the CCW law, but others will. If requested by police, I will comply by showing them my CCW permit (ID), proving my right to carry.

nice spin Carbon on Kari’s statement. She didnt say you don’t need I.D. for CCW. Typical though for you.
