Here we go ….again! There must be more cuts made…..they can hardly bank on the State of Minn to finance 40% of their operating budget…..every year, as the State has fiscal woes of it’s own….just like all the taxpayers have! Continually blaming the State for their budget woes just kicks the can down the road….as they do not learn from problems everyone shares in a down economy….they have to cut back as well! They have spent down their reserve fund by a minimum of 30 million dollars in a year’s time…..they fund the Red Plan costs by 5 million dollars every year…..from their general fund…..so, with the State’s budget woes….they spending most all of their reserves….and even taking more from their own general fund to pay Red Plan costs….what do you suppose is going to happen…..a budget crisis! This is really taking it’s toll…..short sightedness…..a severe lack of common sense….. extremely poor planning ……a lack of trust from parents, voter’s and taxpayer’s…..spells out that, in other words……NO more money from the taxpayer till they “get their poop in a scoop”……and grow a backbone…..equals….a strict budget….no frills and indulgences at a “whim” of the school administration or the board!
