The County got off easy in settling with Ms Cenzano. After all, they had to pay Mel Ruppert 7 times that much to get him out of office (and he’s still getting paid, apparently.) I’m surprised she settled for this small amount, as she was probably represented by legal counsel. The County – who only had to cough up half the settlement — dodged a major bullet here.
I don’t think the voters of Nobles County should settle for less than a 100% turnover in commissioners this year.
