Carlton County officials are reminding veterans living in the county that they may be eligible for payments to help defer cleanup costs from June’s floods.

Good on the Carlton County Veteran Services people for bringing this up. This grant is also available to Veterans who live in Aitkin, Cook, Dakota, Goodhue, Lake, Rice and St Louis County. Applications are available from the CVSO’s in those counties, and must be postmarked by September 30th.
