In 2007, ND had 369 cases of West Nile Viruse reported. The next year it dropped to 37 cases and a couple years later there was only one case. The stories are always the same and never did they same the “numbers are down 90% from the previous year”. I believe they need to include this history and give people a true perspective of what is going on. It’s a national story in Dallas and they want to try to tie it in locally. The facts are this year, in eastern ND, there very few mosquitos and the chances of getting WNV are very low. Get out outside and enjoy the outdoors!
