Animals have heartbeats just like people do. When people abuse people, they are arrrested & pay for it one way or another. It should be the same for animal abuse. If you abuse an animal, you should be arrested & have to pay for it one way or another. When will people realize that animals are NOT property. They are a living breathing animal! Remember science class where they taught us that people are animals too. Animal abuse is a crime & the abusers should be treated like the criminals that they are.
