Cottage Grove voters to decide $13.5 million in city park improvements

Rarely do I see our parks being used enough to make me want to pay for this proposed park project. And $6.5 million for an interactive aquatic facility replacing the pool that the city just closed because of high maintenance and operation costs and low attendance. If the old pool cost was too high, why go down that same path? Now is not the time for reckless spending.
