I’m just sayin’ – Why should we even bother with the U.S. Constitution?

The United States Constitution was designed, written, and put into practice as the means of governing our new country. Our country, by its Constitution, was meant to be a “republic.” Most people have the misconception that we are a democratic government. Continue Reading

I think more people should take note of this type of activity. You’re right presidents from both sides of the aisle have issued executive orders: since FDR took office through July 30th of 2012 the president has used this ‘loophole’ to go outside of the system of checks and balances between executive and legislative…and judicial branches more than 7,500 times! That is just wrong! Republicans have averaged over 200 executive orders per each of the 9 Presidential terms served by a Republican president. One person should not have that much power.

You say that Republicans have averaged 200 executive orders over 9 presidents (1800) out of 7500 executive orders, but you seem to dismiss the other 5700 for which, according to your figures, were penned by Democrats. What are you really trying to say?

That leaves an average of over 500 EO’s for each of the 11 terms served by democrats.

What I’m really trying to say is two, maybe threefold. I was hoping someone was paying attention to this and could figure out that more than 3/4 of the executive orders written were written by Democrats. But moreso, I am trying to say this is a bad way of running this country, and no party affilitation exempts a person from being a part of the problem.
Thanks for noticing and saying something and not just clicking like or dislike.
