Which is why I prefer the term “biological units” to describe them.

So are you just saying that? Or are you implying something?

If you’re talking to me and not Gene, what I am implying is that if “parents” can’t buy notebooks and pencils and a Communist Chinese calculator, they probably should drop their kids off at the fire department and get themselves sterilized because they have NO business raising kids.

Wondering why the need to “register” and show all your ‘papers’ for a few gratis school supplies? Do they really think people will be double dipping for a small box of pencils and some paper? Exactly why are they TRACKING little kids who’s parents are struggling? Pretty disturbing.

It’s like EVERY giveaway program–filled to the top with parasites that will take more than their share if given half-a-chance.
Come to think of it, that’s the ENTIRE PRINCIPLE behind giveaways and “assistance programs”–Folks take what doesn’t belong to them. When the giveaway is funded by private (voluntary) dollars, I don’t have strong objections. Let the provider decide what’s OK and what isn’t OK. When the “assistance” is funded by money appropriated by the IRS (i.e., legalized theft) I have considerable objection.
