Espegard is part of the reason we need the housecleaning to begin with. If he’d done his job, the Dickinson Debacle and so many other issues would be resolved by now.

Ah yes…the courageous leader of men….Espegaard.
Now, let me get this straight.
Espy and the board hired an outside firm to locate a qualified applicant for chancellor…now the chancellor has complete control over how things will be done.
What is the boards job?

Espeguard has demonstrated great leadership and judgment. Warned us years ago that suing the NCAA would fail over nickname. AFter repeated attempts to get tribes to agree. The Herald was relentless in blaming the NDBOHE. Espegard and Shaft always put UND first. They wanted to keep the nickname, but had forsight to know nickname supporters would not prevail and it would harm UND in the end. At least I remember that. Kudos Duaine. And Im hoping Shirvani will do great.
