As a dog lover, and one who is also struggling financially big time, this story brought me to tears. I hope it tugs at the hearts of all those who give their love to a pet, and are rewarded 10 fold in return. My “kids” are both shelter dogs, both had nowhere to go and I felt I could give them a home with love and security, just like Unger has done for Schoep. God bless you Mr. Unger, you are a champion in my mind.
